“Winter” is an epic album with atmospheric melodies and clean vocals of Cammie collaborated with aggressive vocals. The bands songwriting skills are phenomenal.

The title song “Winter” clearly explains what this album is all about. The song is sombre, aggressive and takes the listener through a journey. It’s a song that you got to sit back comfortably and listen and it will take you through a journey a most memorable one.

The second track of the album “Devout” again takes you to another amazing level in this journey, it’s heavy, and the musical shifting styles are just amazing, great lyrics and fantastic musical progression.

The next track “Nights in White Satin” is a cover of Moody Blues. There is not anyone who would not love this amazing song. Oceans of Slumber nailed this song perfectly, no one can better this one, Progressive metal has been taken to a new level.

Talking about the next tracks “Lullaby” and “Laid to Rest” one can purely enjoy the blues style vocals of Cammie Gilbert and the gentle guitars of Anthony Contreras will make you float on the ocean with their magnificent musical progression.

And the other tracks are not the least; they are truly amazing in ways of lyrics, Vocal parts and amazing guitar solos and Progression. And they end with the most amazing “Grace” Like I Said earlier “Winter” is a journey into the world of Progressive metal.
