Rare Breed

 The Shrine is a three piece band from California, and ‘Rare Breed’ is their third album. A mixture of hardcore punk, stoner rock and classic heavy metal, that is flawlessly melted together into an album that will blow listeners away. This is garage rock at its finest. ‘Savage Skulls and Nomads’ is a great song that has an old school hardcore punk sound. The song ‘What’s Left For Me’, is definitely a stoner rock song with a great retro groove to it. The guitar riffs are amazing as are the vocals of Josh Landau. It’s hard to believe this is only a three piece band. If you are a fan of hardcore punk, rock and metal, you will love this album. In my opinion there isn’t a bad song on this album.
