DO IT ANYWAY (Single)

Recently I could enjoy the bell-clear soprano Finnish singer Elina Siirala on the EP “Fires In The North” from Leaves’ Eyes. Now the single “DO IT ANYWAY.” from their “own” band Angel Nation (formerly EnkElination) was published. Two years after the debut album “Tears of Lust” so there is again a sign of life from the band from London.

“Do It Anyway” starts powerful. Soon starts the outstanding vocals of Elina Siirala. Later the song is backed by giving impetus Double Bass. Banging riffs provide a really heaviness. At the end you can hear a melodic guitar solo. “Devil’s Voice Inside” also starts with guitar riffs, which are then withdrawn slightly during the quiet vocals. Elina can show here, what a great singer she is. After another guitar solo the singing is accompanied by piano music. At the end is a live recording to hear – “Never Ending” from the far last appearance of the band in November 2015. A quiet starting melodic song, later punchy riffing and double bass passages join in. A catchy chorus completes the whole.

Although frontwoman Elina Siirala is currently deeply involved in Leaves Eyes’s (Tour and EP), she has taken the time with her band Angel Nation to produce a single. Without any bombast the songs are rocking straight forward. That leaves you wanting more, especially because drummer Lucas Williamson commented on Facebook: “More good things to come, just bear with us and be patient! I promise it’ll be worth the wait!! “I’m really excited!
