Magnum

Whoever thinks by Magnum only of an ice cream or a Ferrari 308 GTS is misplaced here. That night the English hard rock band Magnum invites in the time-honored factory in Hamburg-Ottensen. The former machine factory is a cultural and communications center since 1971, and is probably one of the hottest venues of the Hanseatic city. All pictures can be seen on Flickr.

Quarter to Nine pm the opener Reds’Cool from St. Petersburg (Russia) started in a 45-minute gig. The band was founded under the name OLDSCHOOL in 2009 by guitarist Sergey Fedotov. That evening they presented songs from the two albums that have been recorded under the new band name, with a focus on “Press Hard” from 2015, a three-quarter hour of excellent melodic classic rock.
